Our custom labels are uniquely tailored to the specific requirements of our customers. To enable us to provide an accurate quotation which proposes a suitable label solution and accurate pricing we need some information from you relating to your label application. If you require labels and would like a quote we advise considering the below.
What will the labels be used for?
If you are able to let us know the label application this is really useful as we use certain material and adhesive combinations for specific industry requirements. Certain labels for example used in the chemical industry or food industry require materials that comply with specific regulations so please let us know if you have to comply with any regulations or standards.
What label material do you require?
We can supply custom labels in a range of materials and finishes, this includes paper, synthetic plastics, card and metal. If you do not know what material would be most suitable for your application please tell us what the labels will be used for and we can advise a suitable solution.
What are the labels being applied to?
Every surface is unique and consequently the label adhesive used on the label must be tailored to the surface so it effectively adheres. Certain surfaces will require adhesive with an extra strong adhesive, others will require an easily removable adhesive so the label does not damage the surface it is applied to. Labels that will be exposed to certain temperatures will also need a special adhesive for example labels that will be used in a frozen environment.
What environmental conditions will the labels be exposed to?
It is important that we know what environmental conditions the labels will be exposed to as this will determine the material and adhesive combination we use. Please let us know what conditions the labels will be used in which includes whether they will be used indoors or outdoors, whether they will be exposed to any harsh environmental conditions such as chemicals, submersion in water and extreme temperatures.
What are the label dimensions?
To be able to provide an accurate price for labels we need to know the dimensions of the label you require, please measure the width and height of the label you require and provide dimensions measured in millimetres. If the label is a special shape please let us know the height and width and also provide an image of the label shape required.
How many labels do you require?
We need to know the quantity of labels you require to provide an accurate price, we provide a few different quantity price breaks as often the price per label reduces the higher quantity you order so it may be worth ordering in a higher quantity to benefit from this.
Do you require fully pre-printed labels or are you printing labels on your own printer?
We supply both fully pre-printed labels and also blank labels to be used on our customers’ own label printers. If you require labels to print on your own label printer, we need to know the make and model of your printer so we can ensure the labels supplied are compatible with this printer.
What is the label design?
If you require printed labels ideally we want to see the label design before we quote as this will determine what label printing method we use and the price of the labels. Please also let us know if there is variable information on each label or various designs as this will also affect the label price.
How would you like the label presented?
If you have a strong preference for how the labels are presented please let us know, we can supply labels on rolls, sheets and fan-folded. Please note if you are printing our labels on your own printer then the labels will have to be formatted so they are compatible with the printer.
